At Hastings E-Free, we strive for all kids to have a space to feel safe, welcome, and loved – all while empowering their imagination and accelerating their spiritual growth.
SUNDAY
Nursery
Our nursery is open to babies and toddlers (ages newborn – 2 years) during both worship services and over the Sunday School hour.
Sunday School
Sunday school classes are offered for children of all ages at 9:45am. Kids will have an opportunity to dive into Bible lessons and grow in their faith. If you are visiting with us, please stop by the Welcome Center (located directly outside the Sanctuary) to find out more about our Sunday School classes for kids and adults.
Children’s Church
Children’s Church is available for kids ages 3 through Kindergarten during the sermon portion of our worship services. Kids in this program will learn Bible stories, play games, and complete engaging activities.
WEDNESDAY
Fellowship Dinner
Bring the family and enjoy a FREE meal in the Fellowship Hall before Awana! Food is served from 5:30pm – 6:30pm.
Awana Clubs
Awana Clubs is built on our 3B ministry philosophy of child discipleship: Belong, Believe, Become. Children build spiritual resilience when they feel they belong to Jesus, when they believe in the truth of the Bible and then become disciplemakers in their own right. We welcome any child in pre-K through 6th grade on Wednesdays at 6:30pm.

Child Dedication
We value children and are dedicated to helping parents succeed in their God-given responsibility to raise their children well. Baby/Child dedication is a way for parents to privately and publicly declare their intention to raise their child(ren) to know and love Jesus. As an occasional part of our Sunday services, parents are invited to dedicate their children to the Lord and declare their intention in front of the church body. Contact the church office for more information or fill out the Let’s Chat form.
Baptism
Have you recently decided to dedicate your life to Christ and want to make your faith known? Baptism is the next step, the public declaration of ones faith and commitment symbolizing a transformative rebirth. If you or your child would like to be baptized, speak with Kristy or fill out the Let’s Chat form!
