Hey, thanks for stopping by the Adult Ministries page! I’m Matt and would like to help you connect with some of our adult ministries and groups! We often grow as we “get in the Word and get in a group!” Below you will find several different ministry areas to consider whether you are just out of high school or well into retirement. We can always grow in the Lord together!

Adult Bible Fellowships
Join us on Sundays at 9:45am for adult classes over various topics.
Men
Our Men of Action Ministry offers numerous small groups, along with fellowship events throughout the year.
Women
Our Above All Women's Ministry has several groups and activities that meet regularly.
Celebrate Recovery
Have hurts, habits, or hang-ups? Join the Celebrate Recovery group in the Youth Room on Saturdays at 7:00pm.
Encore Ministry
This group (designed for those 60 and over) brings in speakers from a variety of different fields.

Adult Bible Fellowships
These are just what they sound like!
Adult – ages 18+
Bible – our primary text book, though we also do topical studies in aspects of Christian living
Fellowships – groups that meet together for study, discussion, prayer, and hopefully some laughter!
We have 6 groups that meet throughout the school year. Check the Welcome Center for the most recent offerings.
Men's Ministry
We want to see men built up in Christ, so we call our ministry Men Under Construction! Our desire is build up each man be a godly man who loves Jesus and loves and cares for those God places in His life. We have several men’s groups, scheduled social activities and whenever possible, bacon! Check at the Welcome Center for available groups and upcoming events.
Women's Ministry
Above All Women’s Ministry seeks to help women exalt Jesus above all else! Bible study groups, special dinner events and speakers, conferences, are all part of the mix to help women grow in Christ. The men’s and women’s ministries help support one another and do some combined events. Check at the Welcome Center for available groups and upcoming events.
Interface is a women’s group ministry in which women study the Bible weekly (12 weeks per semester). Offering biblical insight, relational connections and prayer, these groups commit to seeking the Lord for a 3 year term (24 weeks per year). New groups start in the Fall.
Celebrate Recovery
If you have a hurt, habit or hang-up, Welcome! You are among friends! We are grateful believers in Jesus who struggle with _____(you fill in the blank!) Jesus Christ is our Higher Power and we use recovery principles found in the Beatitudes and the Twelve Steps for Christians. Together with love and healthy structures, we learn to live lives in freedom. Come join us – Saturday nights 7-9 pm in the Youth Room.
Encore Ministry
Encore is for those of us aged 60+. Encore means we aren’t done yet! There is more to share, grow and give, even as we age. We meet monthly for a topical discussion, devotional and some social time to encourage each other. (Third Thursday of the month – 1:30-3:00 pm in the Youth Room) We also have a Bible study Monday afternoons at 1:30 pm in the Fireside Room.
Small Groups
Lifegroups, Community groups, home groups – whatever you are used to calling them, we just call them small groups because they are groups of 3-15 adults that meet to study the Bible, encourage one another, pray and sometimes serve together. Not flashy, just super important and meaningful! Get in one! Call Pastor Matt for questions.
Called to Serve
Beloved Ministry
Men! Join a team of like-minded believers in going out and serving widows in the Hastings area once a month. Activities include: yard work, moving furniture or heavy items, and home maintenance projects.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
We have a need for ushers, greeters, Welcome Center attendants, and more within our First Impressions ministry! If you enjoy greeting others and guiding guests, there is an opening on the First Impressions team for you.
Worship Arts
Our desire is to exalt the Triune God in Spirit and in Truth through meaningful worship that is excellent and pleasing to Him. At Hastings E-Free, the worship style is contemporary blended and led by our worship band. We value a variety of different worship songs from modernized hymns to current worship songs.
